How It Works FAQ
Yes — and this is exactly what Djangify eBuilder is designed for.
You can sell PDFs, videos, templates, workbooks, audio files, or any downloadable digital product directly from your own website, under your own brand. Customers purchase from your site, pay securely, and receive instant access to their download. There is no marketplace profile, no third-party branding, and no dependency on an external platform controlling how or what you sell.
No. One of the main reasons people choose Djangify eBuilder is to avoid endless platform subscriptions. Once your shop is set up, it continues to run without requiring monthly software fees just to keep selling.
If you self-host, there are no mandatory ongoing software subscriptions. If you choose our managed hosting option, that is optional and billed separately for convenience, not access.
This depends on how you choose to run Djangify:
Self-hosted:
Your only ongoing costs are your own server hosting and any third-party services you choose to use (such as Stripe transaction fees or email delivery services). There are no required Djangify subscriptions.
Managed hosting (optional):
If you prefer not to manage servers, updates, or security yourself, we offer a managed hosting option with a predictable monthly fee. This covers hosting, updates, and maintenance so you can focus purely on selling.
You are free to switch between self-hosting and managed hosting at any time.
Yes. Djangify is designed to be self-hosted. You can run it on your own VPS or server using Docker, connect it to your own domain, and use your own Stripe account. Your store, data, and infrastructure remain under your control.
This is the default and preferred option for many users.
Managed hosting is an optional service for people who don’t want to handle servers, updates, or infrastructure. With managed hosting:
Everything is set up for you
Updates and maintenance are handled for you
Your site is ready to use immediately after signup
This option is ideal if you want the benefits of a self-hosted platform without the technical setup.
